TUSA DIVE & SNORKEL: TRIP DESCRIPTION

TUSA operate a modern twin hull catamaran. With the current boat being the sixth generation custom built snorkel and dive boat. TUSA are locally owned and operated for over 20 years.

TUSA operate a roaming reef permit. This permits them to travel to any number of moorings on the Great Barrier Reef. As the boat departs to the reef each morning the skipper will check the wind, tides, and current. Based on that day's sea conditions the skipper will choose the best dive sites.

CERTIFIED DIVERS: TUSA allows unguided certified scuba diving, a great way to explore the reef in your own buddy pairs. If would like a dive guide they can provide one for just $10 per person per dive. You can organize this on the day on the boat.

Snorkel Gear

Enjoy snorkeling as much as you like. All snorkel gear is provided: fins, mask, snorkel, and lycra suit. Included is a guided snorkel tour at the second dive location of the day!

Scuba Diving

Certified Scuba divers can enjoy up to 3 x Certified dives in the same day. Includes full dive gear like BCD, Regs, Dive Computer, Snorkel, Fins and Mask. All dives are unguided. You can get a dive guide for just $10 per person per dive.

Intro Scuba Diving

You can also try the optional extra first-time introductory scuba diving. Remember you must be medically fit with no asthma and not taking any prescription medication to try diving.

Lunch

Included in your day are morning and afternoon tea. Biscuits, muffins tea & coffee. Also a beautiful cold buffet lunch. Vegetarian options available on request.

Departs: 8:00am Returns: 4:00pm

Check in is directly on the boat at 7:40 am. (A-Finger Marlin Marina) Don't be late and remember to print out your ticket and present on the day. The boat returns to Cairns at 4:00 pm.
