Spirit of Freedom is one of Australia's most comfortably appointed dive vessels, and provides unsurpassed live aboard cruising to the remote regions of Australia's Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea. At 37 metres, with three decks of living space, 11 generous cabins with private bathroom, the Spirit of Freedom offers the comforts and services of a floating hotel for up to 26 guests.
Divers have a choice of three, four and seven day tours to world-renowned diving destinations of the Cod Hole, Ribbon Reef and Osprey Reef in the Coral Sea. These eco systems showcase an amazing diversity from picturesque coral gardens, crowned with delicate anemones and colourful reef fish to the 1000 metre walls of the volcanic atolls of the Coral Sea, home territory of reef sharks, whales, schooling hammerheads, mantas, schools of barracuda's and mackerel, massive red and yellow soft corals.
Three Day Cod Hole and Ribbon Reefs
Join Spirit of Freedom for three days and nights to dive the world famous Cod Hole and Ribbon Reefs. On-board this 37-metre luxury motor cruiser you will enjoy gourmet meals, complimentary wine and dinner, air-conditioned en-suite cabins and three decks of living area. You will travel 240 kilometres along rarely visited reefs where you will encounter a family of giant potato cod, clouds of colourful tropical fish and pristine coral gardens. Suitable for divers and snorkellers, this tour provides the very best of the Great Barrier Reef, finishing with a low-level scenic reef flight from Lizard Island to Cairns.

Four Day Coral Sea
Your tour begins with a one-hour reef flight to join the Spirit of Freedom at beautiful Lizard Island. You will be diving that very afternoon at the top of the Ribbon Reefs at sights such as the Cod Hole and Dynamite Pass, before overnight travel out to remote Osprey Reef in the Coral Sea. Here you will experience 30 to 100 metre visibility while diving with sharks, mantas and schools of pelagic, against reef landscapes of pinnacles and shear walls laced with golden gorgonian fans. This tour includes the opportunity for up to 15 dives, accommodation in spacious en-suite cabins and chief prepared gourmet meals.

- Children are welcome. A minimum age of 10 and full fare applies. All children must be accompanied by a parent at all times, including when diving or snorkelling. Spirit of Freedom does not supply child size scuba equipment or wet suits. Should gear be required, then the children must provide their own equipment. Diving in ill-fitting equipment is not allowed.
Seven Day Cod Hole and Coral Sea
Join Spirit of Freedom for seven days and nights diving the two diverse eco systems of the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea. Your cruise will include the Ribbon Reefs and ‘Cod Hole’, and also give you a chance to explore Lizard Island, Osprey and possibly Bougainville Reef in the Coral Sea. The first part of your tour will include the magical Ribbons Reefs, the ‘Cod Hole’ and Lizard Island. The second part of the cruise takes divers to Osprey Reef in the Coral Sea to dive it’s sheer walls and experience the shark dive at ‘North Horn’.
